New project: Spaaaaace

I used to play a game that was something like this on Windows 98, it was on a floppy disk that had a whole collection of games. While I had no idea about its name, I very quickly found  Asteroids, which apparently is quite popular, and what I used to play was either a rare version or a copy of it. Anyhow. This project is a very simple Asteroids-like game, only a ship and the colourful asteroids in the vast nothingness of space. Read more...

New project: Bits

This one is a very simple and very quick project, basically written and published in a day. It's a simple clone of the game you can find on the Google Play Store under the name  Grid of Bits, which I thought was pretty cool for the simple game it is. The original (written in Java) can be also found on GitHub  here, although I did not look at the source code. Read more...

New project: Small successes (and a new project)

It's been quite some while since I finished a project that I could post here, but I finally got around to one, and did some very minor (but exciting) experimenting (read: trial and error with lots of googling) along the way (I really like parentheses). Anyhow. Here's a quick post to sum it up. Read more...

Doxygen installation and basics

Since installing and using Doxygen turned out to be a non-trivial task, I've written a short summary of what installations and settings worked for me. As always with these things, your mileage will vary. The instructions here have worked on both of my Windows 8.1 machines. Read more...

New project: Game of Life

This classic probably doesn't need much of an introduction, it's a simple take on Conway's Game of Life. Written in C++, using SDL2 (and SDL2_gfx) for the graphics. Read more...

New project: Labyrinth generator and solver

This project is sort of the sibling of my  recursive colouring game. The original of this one can be found  here. Read more...

Website complete (for the most part)

Well, title says it all. I did have to leave a menu button as a placeholder for now, but other than that, the website is complete as far as I'm concerned. Try the website on mobile devices too, it should adapt to them pretty well. Enjoy browsing, and as the sidebar suggests, please send me any feedback you have about the site. Thank you! Read more...
